Your Wedding Day: digital wedding albums

You may not have heard of it, but Fotocodex is a clever company that bring together everyone’s favourite moments of your wedding day. I’m currently planning a wedding with my fiancĂ©e and soon the topic will turn to the photographs and that’s what made me think of Fotocodex. We’re a really high-tech family, so we know that our guests will have digital cameras with them for the day.

So, alongside the traditional (highly expensive) professional photographer, we’ve found a way to include our family and friends in a new way. We make a collection of their shared photography into a digital wedding album and get it beautifully printed.

It’s quite simple, you set up an account at Fotocodex and then everyone uploads their best digital photos from their computer onto the site. Then, we, as the newlyweds can choose the photos that really capture the essence of the day, and make our own digital photo wedding album. Could it be any easier? I can’t think how!

We then order the digital wedding album from Fotocodex; they print it into a exclusive high quality book, in a range of different colours and finishes. It’s something really special, it’s not just a traditional photo album because the photos are printed onto the page AND you can add text, your own words - if you want to do that too.

There’s no software involved, so don’t worry about having to master some complex
editing and printing programs. It couldn’t be easier. Even granny can do it! It makes a lasting reminder of the happy day and its something you can share with everyone.

So, that’s what we’re doing, we’re getting a personal reminder of our happy day. And anyone in the family, who wants to get one, can easily order one. Or like us, you can order loads of wedding albums for your close family and friends to say thanks for helping us make this such a wonderful day. I think Fotocodex is unique amongst wedding gifts. Why not check it out for yourself?
